10 Steps to Transparency
Since Custodio Asset Management (CAM) was founded in October 2005, Ace and Almond Custodio have emphasized their commitment to a completely transparent and user-friendly investment platform. In the wake of the Madoff Ponzi scandal, CAM wants clients and prospective clients to be familiar with the company’s 10 step transparency program.
Step One – CAM’s account executives are always available to discuss your account via telephone or e-mail. Investors are encouraged to communicate with their account managers whenever they have a question.
Step Two - The Company posts weekly investment results every Tuesday on the company web log at www.custodioassetmanagement.wordpress.com and on the company web site at www.camtrading.com.
Step Three – Account managers assist new clients initiate their individual accounts with independent login access at www.rydexfunds.com. Clients then have 24/7 access to all historical transactions, time of occurrence, deposits and withdrawals.
Step Four – Clients receive a daily online transaction report from Rydex Investments.
Step Five – Monthly statements are sent by CAM to account owners. These statements detail beginning balance, ending balance, fee amounts, the formula used to calculate fees, the date the fee is deducted and dates for the statement period.
Step Six – Each account owner receives a quarterly statement mailed directly from Rydex.
Step Seven – Rydex prepares and mails annual tax documents to each account owner.
Step Eight – CAM has engaged TimerTrac to independently audit and provide third party verification through weekly transaction reports of the CAM group account at Rydex.
Step Nine – As occurred in November 2008, CAM investment programs are periodically subjected to unannounced audits by the State of Maryland Securities Division.
Step 10 - Unlike most hedge funds, CAM is listed on the SEC database and can be located by visiting www.sec.gov and using CRD 144223.
Ace and Almond Custodio have designed this transparent system with care and precision and firmly believe that if Wall Street had used programs like these, financial institutions would not have been able to self-destruct.
If you have any questions about CAM or the company’s business practices, please do not hesitate to call 410-988-2511 or e-mail info@camtrading.com.

CAM,
Your 10 steps to transparency are great. Compared to previous investments and custodians, the combination of CAM and Rydex make it so much easier to see where our money is at, at all times, and how we’re doing compared to the major markets. And when it comes down to it, thats really all we want to know! Any question we have ever had has been answered immediately by you guys. Its no wonder that the Maryland State auditor you wrote about back in December decided to invest her money with CAM after doing her complete audit! Just wanted to say thanks.
